Training for Management

The trainers and management have been capacitated to

• Support replication of newly implemented competency oriented skills training courses;
• Monitor and document the training information;
• Assess the test skills learnt during the training course;
• Collect feedback from the market and accordingly revise/modify training curriculum;
• Develop linkages with employers and other agencies supporting self-employment;
• Form linkages with other training institution for exchange of experiences and supporting each other for skills assessment, etc.

Training for Community Development Staff

Training cum workshops is organized for the development staffs on various components of development and project management cycle such as legal, financial, registration, employment, etc. for execution of various developmental projects.

Training for grass roots level functionaries

This include trainings given to the grass roots level functionaries who are given the charge of training the marginalized or less-privileged youth and women in their community to equip themselves with skills which can earn them a livelihood like tailoring, beauty culture, mushroom cultivation, etc.

As a result of the capacity building interventions the Bosco Personnel was enabled to revise existing curricula and to develop new ones. Since 2004 eighteen new courses have been designed in 11 trade areas and 15 of those have already been introduced. As on date, more than 2000 candidates have participated successfully in these newly designed courses.
